| Adidas Originals - Transform Pack Staying true to originality, adidas Originals has been pushing the envelope on sneakers with utmost effort and creativity this year. With adidas Originals, sneakers are not just sneakers and can absolutely be something more. For instance, with the AR pack, sneakers are also game consoles, and with its convoy of impressive collaborations, sneakers can have wings and they can also be a fan boy’s tribute to Star Wars. Veering away from collaborations, adidas Originals has just released the Transform Pack where a pair of sneakers can be split into two pairs! The Transform Pack remixes five iconic adidas Originals silhouettes, the Nizza Hi, Stan Smith, Forum Mid, Superstar 80s and Samba so that each pair of sneaker can be transformed into something entirely new. With the Stan Smith version, a hi-top black version unzips to reveal the blue low-top inside; Superstar 80s have duo tongues where one can be removed to reveal a new one; a panel can be attached over the Samba to hide the laces and masquerade it as a pair of laceless slip-ons; the Nizza Hi can be cuffed down with the collar snapped into place to be turned into low-tops; and last but not least, the Forum Mid comes with a layering panel like the Samba which transforms the Forum Mid into something that looks a little like the Nike Air Yeezy or the Reebok Ex-O-Fit. Another interesting point to note, an extra pair of laces and lace jewel can be stored in a specially designed compartment in the tongue so one can easily “switch” shoes anytime, anywhere. The Transform Pack is quite mind-bending and should be quite entertaining to put on and play with. The pack is now available for pre-order online at Styles and the Stan Smith and Superstar 80s are now available for purchase at Extra Butter. Why shell out for two pairs of shoes when you can do a little sneaker alchemy and turn one pair into two?
